無語



在整個YEP的申請過程中,我不知道,我不獲選的原因是什麼?是否我的文筆不滯?還是否他們暗中已大量留位比YEAR1的SUB COM,還是我早前得罪了賢明,才讓這個導火線現在才引爆最來?我完全不知道,但力竭聲犚又如何?能改變大局嗎?就算能,你又有沒有勇氣去開罪一幫子人呢?社會上不公平的事還多得很?我這一樁,只是小菜一碟,我相信,在未來,我遇到的會更多更大。所謂的公義,有意義嗎?你只會不斷地被人欺付,我真失敗,到現在,還未大透。

只有大徹大悟地當一隻箭豬,才能不受傷害,還有,要當社會的浮本,永遠浮在水上面。
說真的,這兩天心情是嚴重糟透了,感情事是這麼樣,學業事是這麼樣,連參加一個活動也是這麼樣,輸得不明不白,但是,明白以後,傷害更可能比想象中大...
我不甘心...
又如何?

  1. The Impacts and Influences of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge on Hong Kong Logistics
    Hong Kong Government has proposed a The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, a series of bridges and tunnels that would build up a linkage between the west side of Hong Kong with Macau and the neighboring city of Zhuhai, located on the west shore of the Pearl River Delta, and part of mainland China's southern industrial powerhouse.
    The anticipated cost of the bridge is 30 billions Hong Kong dollars, and the length of the whole bridge will be 29 kilometers, if there would be no major change on design and destination of the bridge.
    In 2003, The Government has launched a The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge Advance Work Coordination Group to study the possibility of the construction and the influences of this bridge on different aspects, such as Environment, Logistics, Economic and Tourisms Industry. The think tank revealed that the existing transportation system between west shore of PRD and Hong Kong is fragile, the entire system will reach the saturated level in 2020, 180-240 million and freight traffic 169-220 million tones, a detour via Human Bridge will surge the logistics cost and time.
    The analyst suggests an extra alignment land linkages between two banks of PRD, to establish a consistent and substantial transportation network, which also includes 5 international class airports and complex water transport, just like the similar network in New Jersey.
    The study has concluded with several expectations of the bridges. First of all, the bridge can shorten the traveling distance between Hong Kong and Macau from 60km to 30km. As a result, Pearl River West will lie within the 3-hour transport network that radiates from Hong Kong as its centre.
    To enhance the position of Logistics Hub, with excellent infrastructure and telecommunication, the government has indicated its intention to develop Nansha as a logistics base while the Airport Authority is having closer cooperation with the Zhuhai airport.
    With the bridge in place, Hong Kong can make avail itself of the Central Government’s ‘Go West’ Development plan to turn itself into a transportation hub to the western region. It has hence within its reach a hinterland with abundant natural resources and a potential market made up of a huge population with growing affluence.
    Last but not least, We strongly recommend government will take above advantages of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge into their consideration of the plan of Hong Kong future.

  2. My Reasons and Expectation of Joining YEP

    Young Engineering Project would bring me several advantages on my career path and even my characteristics.
    In year 2 and 3, I would take a summer internships to strengthen my working experience on logistics and further extend my network. Although these kinds of internships do not require me to have previous and similar working experience, I would like to grasp more opportunities to learn or experience stuffs in Professional Industrial Engineering, which will assist my internships or career development.
    Network is critical for success. YEP is a vulnerable chance to meet other Industrial Engineering student in various institutes. Through YEP’s joint university activities, I may build up a friendship with them. Someday, most of them may be my potential working partners or competitors. If I can estimate correctly their own strengths as well as that of their opponents, it will help me to identify rooms for my improvement on academic, characteristics, and attitude and behavior aspects.
    Besides, YEP can realize most stuffs from book and notes practically. What I learn can be achieved in this project, also with sufficient guidance and advice. I can re-direct my focus on academic study and my university life. It is essential for my further development.
    The most striking thing in YEP, is the chance to visit a Mainland, China firms. Nowadays, China especially Great Pearl Delta Region is surging its position act as a powerhouse of the world. The whole industry streams are now shifting to mainland. As an Industrial Engineer, It will be better if you fully understand the working conditions in China and the way to get with mainlanders. It will make you to earn success in the future.
    During YEP period, I hope I can pro-actively participate all activities organized by YEP, also
    I would like to get known of the concepts of Industrial Engineering with deeper and broaden angle.
